Skimboarders @ Aliso Creek, Laguna Beach on January 24th, 2014

Waiting patiently for the next set to roll in. These guys had their timing nailed down pat. I’d never seen it before here, but with the right conditions, a wave refracts off of the south point and then rolls perpendicular up the beach; when it meets the incoming wave, it steps up into a bitchin A-frame… these guys could see it coming, pump into the northbound wave and nail that a-frame time and time again… was killer…
